1 About This Policy

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how betsp ("betsp," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects the personal information of individuals ("you," "your," or "Player") who access or use the betsp platform, including the website at betsp.net, associated mobile applications, and all related services.

This Policy is issued in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Republic of the Philippines, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). By registering for or using the betsp platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described herein.

2 Data Controller

For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, betsp is the personal information controller responsible for your personal data collected through the betsp platform.

All data privacy inquiries, data subject rights requests, and formal complaints may be directed to the betsp Data Privacy Officer via the contact details set out in Section 14 of this Policy. betsp is committed to responding to all data privacy requests within the timeframes prescribed by applicable Philippine law.

3 Personal Data We Collect

betsp collects personal data from you directly, automatically, and in some cases from third parties. The categories of personal data we collect are described in the table below:

betsp does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what is required for identity verification and fraud prevention. Where sensitive personal information — such as government ID data — is collected, it is processed under the strict protections mandated by the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

4 How We Use Your Personal Data

betsp uses the personal data it collects for the following purposes. We will not use your data for any purpose that is incompatible with those stated below without first obtaining your explicit consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

• Account Management: To create, verify, maintain, and secure your betsp player account, including age and identity verification in compliance with PAGCOR requirements.
• Service Delivery: To provide access to games, process deposits and withdrawals via GCash, Maya, and other accepted payment channels, and deliver customer support.
• Regulatory Compliance: To comply with anti-money laundering (AML) obligations, know-your-customer (KYC) requirements, PAGCOR reporting obligations, and any other applicable Philippine legal requirements.
• Fraud Prevention & Security: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, account abuse, money laundering, and other prohibited conduct as described in the betsp Terms & Conditions.
• Responsible Gaming: To monitor gameplay for signs of problem gambling, administer self-exclusion requests, and apply player-set responsible gaming limits.
• Platform Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, conduct A/B testing, fix bugs, and improve the performance and usability of the betsp platform.
• Communications: To send transactional notifications (deposit confirmations, withdrawal updates, security alerts) and, where you have opted in, promotional communications about betsp offers and new games.
• Legal Claims: To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims in relation to your use of the betsp platform.

5 Legal Bases for Processing

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, betsp processes your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to perform the betsp Player Agreement (Terms & Conditions) to which you are a party, including account creation, payment processing, and game service delivery.
• Legal Obligation: Processing is necessary for betsp to comply with applicable Philippine law, including AML regulations, KYC requirements, and PAGCOR licence conditions.
• Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for betsp's legitimate interests in fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming monitoring, and business analytics, where such interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
• Consent: For optional data processing activities — such as promotional communications and non-essential cookies — betsp relies on your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without detriment to your account.

betsp does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. betsp may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients only to the extent necessary and as permitted by applicable law:

• Payment Processors: GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank, and other accepted payment providers require transaction data to process deposits and withdrawals on your behalf.

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the platform to function correctly, including maintaining your logged-in session, remembering your language preference, and processing transactions. These cannot be disabled.
• Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences (such as game settings and responsible gaming limits) to personalise your betsp experience across sessions.
• Analytics Cookies: Collect aggregated, anonymised data about how players interact with the betsp platform to help us identify and fix issues and improve the service. Analytics are conducted using internally hosted tools only.
• Security Cookies: Used to detect and prevent fraud, bot activity, and unauthorised access attempts.

8 Data Security

betsp implements a comprehensive set of technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. Key security measures include:

• TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit between your device and betsp servers.
• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data stored at rest.
• Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements for high-privilege administrative access to production systems.
• Regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments conducted by independent security specialists.
• Role-based access controls ensuring that betsp personnel can only access the minimum personal data necessary for their specific function.
• Continuous security monitoring and automated alerting for anomalous access patterns.
• Formal incident response procedures to detect, contain, and notify affected individuals and the National Privacy Commission of any personal data breach within the timeframes required by law.

While betsp takes all reasonable and proportionate steps to protect your personal data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely infallible. You are advised to maintain strong, unique passwords for your betsp account and to enable any additional security features offered on the platform.

9 Data Retention

betsp retains personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the specific purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable Philippine law, regulatory obligation, or legitimate business need. General retention periods applied by betsp are as follows:

• Active Account Data: Retained for the duration of your active betsp account relationship plus five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with AML record-keeping obligations.
• KYC & Identity Verification Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of collection or from the date of the last transaction, whichever is later, as required by applicable AML regulations.
• Financial Transaction Records: Retained for five (5) years from the date of each transaction in accordance with AMLC and tax record requirements.
• Support Communications: Retained for two (2) years from the date of resolution, unless the communication is related to a legal claim, in which case it is retained for the duration of the claim plus the applicable prescription period.
• Analytics & Log Data: Anonymised and aggregated after thirteen (13) months. Raw technical logs are deleted after ninety (90) days.

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, betsp will securely delete or anonymise your personal data in a manner that prevents reconstruction or identification.

10 Your Data Subject Rights

As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by betsp. You may exercise any of these rights by contacting our Data Privacy Officer as described in Section 14:

betsp will respond to all data subject rights requests within fifteen (15) calendar days of receipt, or within the extended period of up to thirty (30) days where the complexity of the request requires additional time, in which case you will be notified of the extension and the reasons therefor.

11 Children & Minors

The betsp platform is strictly intended for adults aged 21 years and above, in accordance with the minimum age for online gambling under Philippine regulations enforced by PAGCOR. betsp does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21.

If betsp discovers that personal data has been collected from an individual who is under 21 years of age, betsp will immediately close the account, delete all associated personal data, and forfeit any associated account balances in accordance with the betsp Terms & Conditions.

12 International Data Transfers

betsp's primary operations and data storage infrastructure are located within the Philippines. In some instances, personal data may be transferred to or processed by service providers whose systems are located outside of the Philippines — for example, game technology providers or cloud infrastructure partners operating in other jurisdictions.

Where such transfers occur, betsp ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data at an equivalent level to that required under the Data Privacy Act of 2012. These safeguards include contractual data processing agreements imposing data protection obligations consistent with Philippine law, and assessments of the adequacy of the recipient jurisdiction's data protection framework.

13 Amendments to This Policy

betsp reserves the right to update or revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law, or regulatory guidance. When material changes are made, betsp will notify registered players via email to the address on file and/or through a prominent notice on the betsp platform at least seven (7) days prior to the revised Policy taking effect.

The date of the most recent revision will be clearly indicated at the top of this page. Your continued use of the betsp platform after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acknowledgement of and consent to the revised Policy. If you do not agree with the revised Policy, you may request voluntary account closure in accordance with the betsp Terms & Conditions.
